Après avoir suivi une formation en tant que boucher puis menuiserie, Michael Bihain a étudié l'architecture d'intérieur à l'Institut Saint-Luc Liège et à l'Université de Hull. Il fonde ensuite le Studio BihainProd à Londres. Il travaille actuellement avec divers éditeurs sur le développement de mobiliers et d'accessoires, et conçoit des aménagements d'intérieurs. Michael Bihain auto-édite certains de ses produits. Parallèlement, il enseigne l'architecture d'intérieur à l'Institut Saint Luc Liège. Ses conceptions sont le point de convergence entre nos nouveaux modes de vie et la mémoire collective. Elles se caractérisent par l'évidence des lignes et l'autonomie du produit.
Having trained both as a butcher and carpenter, Michael Bihain studied Interior Design at the St Luc Institute in Liège and Hull University. Following his studies he opens his studio BihainProd in London. He is currently working with different editors on the development of furniture design and accessories. Michael Bihain also produces some of his work. Alongside his professional career as a designer and Interior Architect, Michael is teaching at the St Luc Institute in Liege. His work is regularly featured in international exhibitions. Michael designs are a symbiosis of contemporary lifestyle and collective memory. A characteristic element of his research is the obviousness of the lines obtained.
