Lors du salon Satellite de Milan, Orchid a suscité un véritable enthousiasme. L’objet, qui se situe à mi-chemin entre le fonctionnel et le décoratif, est issu de la fascination de Charlotte pour les orchidées. La délicatesse et la courbure des pétales sont ici exploitées, un set de table à l’image d’une dentelle offrant des jeux de superposition et de multiplication.

Existing in two versions, to put against a wall or to fix on a table with a clamp, this lamp distinguishes itself by the evidence of its construction. The number of pieces is voluntarily reduced: a base in oak made up of two glued slats, a die cut lamp shade in a non coated paper, a cable, a light socket and a metal piece allowing to fix it. Delivered flat, the lamp is assembled by the simplest way: the lamp shade is slided in a groove cut in the wood.
